Out Of My Hands Series is one that reflects both the fact that it came from my hands in the throwing process but it also true of the surface finish in that I as the artist has to let go of the control and let the kiln environment "paint" the surface. The surface is fired in a Raku kiln for several hours with a variety of metals, minerals and combustibles. Each surface is an unexpected surprise.
