All of my work is a building process. The Coming in Waves Series was the first attempt at carving and manipulating the traditional bowl shape. This series eventually lead to the "Intentions" Series which pushed the clay farther and changed the finish surface. When grouped together the pieces relate to one another and create their own sense of movement.
